Rebecca has been working in the accountancy profession for over 14 years and has been a qualified Chartered Certified Accountant with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants for 9 years and in 2007 achieved fellowship status with the Association. She has experience in dealing with a diverse range of businesses and working in the various aspects of the accountancy profession. During her career at one of the UK’s top 20 accountancy practices she spent time specialising in both audit, and personal and company taxation and brings the experience gained to assist the small and medium sized clients of Adders Accountants.
Jan joined Adders Accountants in September 2008. Prior to joining Adders, Jan worked for many years with a major bank where she gained a wealth of experience in a variety of roles which include Relationship Management, Sales, Customer Service and Call Centre Management. Jan is responsible for the smooth running of the office and has a range of responsibilities, including office management and the co-ordination of client communications for Adders.
Val joined Adders Accountants in 2000 and is responsible for all clients’ bookkeeping, Payroll and VAT requirements. Val has been working as a bookkeeper since 1978 gaining an extensive knowledge of VT Transaction+ along with a variety of other frequently used bookkeeping packages. Prior to joining Adders she worked for a large print company where she gained experience in a number of areas which include Credit Control, County Court Summons and the preparation of case notes for attending Court. Val has also worked as an Office Manager/Director for two small/medium sized companies; where her responsibilities included the day to day running of the accounts office producing monthly Management Accounts, cashflows etc.
Liz has worked within the accountancy profession for twelve years. Throughout this time she has held positions in the educational and voluntary sectors as well as spending a large proportion of her career working in practice. Over the years she has worked with a wide range of small and medium sized businesses, gaining experience in a number of different areas such as accounts production, personal tax and corporation tax.
Liz qualified with the ACCA in 2008 and has since achieved a first class degree in applied accounting under the ACCA / Oxford Brookes partnership.
